Living Out Our Faith: Presence, Action, and Authentic Mission

Faith is active, not passive. It emphasizes being present with people in crisis, taking action to help others, and practicing "non-toxic" mission work that respects those served. Ultimately, it embodies Christ's love through compassion, justice, and service. 

For me, faith isn't a passive belief system; it's a vibrant call to action, an invitation to be God's hands and feet in a world often marked by pain and brokenness. My experiences in mission and service, both near and far, have profoundly shaped my understanding of what it means to truly live out our Christian convictions.

One of the most crucial lessons I've learned is the profound importance of being present with people, especially in times of crisis. When life throws its harshest blows, individuals often need not a quick fix or a theological explanation but a compassionate presence – someone to listen, offer a hand of support, and bear witness to their pain. In those moments, our role is not to have all the answers but to embody the love of Christ through our unwavering presence and empathy.

This leads directly to the call to be God's hands and feet in the world. Our faith compels us to move beyond words and into tangible action.
